Alternate Guardian
A person or entity designated to serve as a guardian, in the event that the primary guardian does not serve or if both of the primary co-guardians do not serve.
An alternate guardian may serve at any time when there isn't a primary guardian, even after a primary guardian has begun and later ceases to serve.
Also known as a "Contingent Guardian."
