Guardian of the Estate
Someone given the legal authority to manage and control another person's property for that person's benefit. The guardian's authority and duties may be considered similar to a trustee.
In Pennsylvania, a minor's parent cannot serve in this role alone and the Orphans' Court will appoint a co-guardian to serve with any parent who is appointed to this role.
