Plenary Guardian
A guardian with the authority to
deal with all matters relating to the
ward's person or
estate.
Although plenary guardians have very broad powers, Pennsylvania still
imposes certain restrictions upon them. For instance, the guardian of an
incapacitated person may
not admit the ward under his or her care to an inpatient psychiatric
facility or relinquish the ward's parental rights.
