Sound Mind
The mental condition and knowledge required to create a valid
will. Sound mind must exist at the time of
execution.
Although all personal circumstances differ, Pennsylvania generally requires
each testator to have a general idea of:
1. The property he or she owns; 2. The people who are the
natural objects of his or her bounty;
3. What he or she wants to be done with all personally owned property after
death; 4. How these elements relate to each other in the plan formed by the
will that is being executed.
